Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our pub kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a proven track record of food production and team management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
* Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Stay updated on industry trends to continually enhance the dining experience.
