Shift Maintenance Engineer – Belfast / Lisburn Area – Electrical Bias
Our client are a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide. We are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, based at their site close to Belfast and Lisburn. Shift pattern is continental 2 weeks day and 2 weeks night, with a starting salary over £48k rising to £51k. Additional overtime is paid at 1.5 rate.
Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
* Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly
* Continuous improvement and machine upgrades
* Work across electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, robotics
* Work as part of a maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance
* Record maintenance logs as required
* Work in line with company policy and health & safety
Qualifications
* Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical
* Strong electrical knowledge of industrial electrical systems
* Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production setting
* Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Preferable to have knowledge of PLCs, controls and robotics
