Job Description
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client based in Craigavon to recruit a Welder/Fabricator Supervisor. The role involves liaising with senior staff to establish workload requirements, reading and understanding pipe fabrication drawings, and fabricating pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm).
The candidate must ensure adherence to welding procedures, proper pipe preparation, and fit-up to standard. Regular communication with line managers regarding defects, safety issues, and non-conformances is essential. The role requires ensuring work progresses timely and according to specifications.
Requirements
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience
* Fabrication experience
* Supervisory experience
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7am-5pm
Friday: 7am-4pm
Additional Information
This is a permanent position with benefits. Candidates must hold an EU work permit.
