Job Description
Operate a multi‑site contract, including additional off‑site locations such as traditional canteen style offerings, coffee shops, jiffy vans, grab‑and‑go sites and others, driving innovation and unique concepts across all venues.
Identify and capitalise on niche markets while implementing current high‑street trends to enhance the existing offering. Ultimately responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the estate and for maintaining performance against target KPI’s.
This is a primarily Monday‑Friday breakfast and lunch operation; some weekend and evening work will be expected. Flexible working hours are required and may evolve with service expansion.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage operations across multiple sites, including canteen, coffee shops, jiffy vans and grab‑and‑go locations.
* Identify and capitalize on niche markets and current high‑street trends.
* Maintain performance of the contract against targeted KPI’s.
* Oversee day‑to‑day running of the estate, ensuring high standards of service, health and safety, sustainability, financial and governance.
* Act as the business owner, controlling all finances and operational decisions.
* Coordinate flexible working schedules, including weekend and evening hours as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience as General Manager in a large multi‑outlet venue or contract catering environment.
* Strong leadership, mentoring, communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Proven ability to build positive, credible relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Experience achieving business‑critical KPI’s (Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial, Governance).
* Financial accountability and understanding of business decisions.
* Strategic planning and implementation skills for full catering service, including mobilisation of units and annual marketing calendar.
* Ability to identify opportunities to increase profitability of the catering service.
