Overview
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Maternity Cover with potential for a permanent role
East Devon’s leading independent small animal practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a welcoming team this autumn. The practice has been proudly independent for over eleven years and remains 100% vet-owned. With two modern sites in the Sidmouth area, they prioritise people and patients, combining excellent facilities with a supportive, close-knit team.
The role offers flexibility: you can start on a maternity cover contract in December, or on a permanent basis if you’d prefer, as the practice continues to grow. Hours can be full-time or part-time, though cover on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays is ideally preferred. Time will be split between both practices. There is a commitment to Saturday mornings, officially 1 in 4 and currently closer to 1 in 6. No out-of-hours responsibilities, supporting a healthy work–life balance.
