In Newcastle our test centre, along with our nationwide centres, is hard at work assisting candidates sitting their English language tests through Trinity College London. To give them vital support and a positive experience, we need a professional customer focused individual with impeccable communication skills.
About the role
As a Registrar, you will ensure that the candidates are registered by following the SELT ID policy and procedure as well as administrative functions on a day to day basis. You will play a crucial role in promoting a secure and safe exam environment, ensuring full compliance with Trinity’s examination policies and procedures to maintain the security and integrity of our exams. There will also be times when you will be required to step up and oversee the smooth running of the centre.
This is a part-time onsite role 2 days per week every Friday and Saturday, between the hours of 08:15 - 17:00. Please note that these days are fixed and cannot be changed.
Responsibilities
* Register candidates by following the SELT ID policy and procedures and perform day-to-day administrative tasks.
* Promote a secure and safe exam environment and ensure compliance with Trinity’s examination policies and procedures.
* Maintain the security and integrity of exams and, when required, oversee the smooth running of the centre.
About you
* Good level of education with the ability to communicate at all levels and provide excellent customer service.
* Professional image at all times, especially in testing situations.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a real team player who can work with colleagues, examiners, and candidates.
* Reliability is key; tests will not run if the Registrar is not on site on their required days.
