What the Job Involves This role involves delivering a social work service for children and families, maintaining effective partnerships with a range of services to deliver integrated responses, fulfilling statutory obligations, and ensuring that children and families are at the center of decision-making processes. As part of your duties, you will conduct safeguarding investigations, prepare and present reports, manage a caseload, and ensure adherence to statutory timescales. You will also be involved in professional development, participating in supervision, training, and contributing to service development. Skills Recognised Social Work qualification Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience Registered with Social Care Wales Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage complex caseloads independently Knowledge of current legislation and guidelines Experience with safeguarding procedures Teamwork and interpersonal skills IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
