WHAT DOESSUCCESS LOOK LIKE
FinancialControl
* Establish andimplement robust policies and procedures to ensure all transactionsare recorded accurately and in line with the relevant accountingstandards
* Ensure all transactions recordedwithin the finance team are compliant with the internal policiesand procedures
* Drive for innovation: Findsolutions to enable all budget holders access to the informationthey need when they need it
* Take the lead oncreating systems and processes to prevent errors in data collectionand calculations
* Work closely with all budgetholders to ensure support with adherence to budget and expenditurepolicies
ManagementAccounts
* Oversee monthlyclosing process including reconciliations and analysis ofP&L and balance sheet
* Oversee thepreparation and distribution of internal financial reportsmaintaining the highest quality reliability and accuracy reports toinclude P&L by department Balance Sheet and CashFlow
* Compare results to budget with all budgetholders challenging variances
* Presenthighquality financial results nonfinancial KPIs and performance vsbudget / forecast to the leadershipteam
* Identify and develop appropriate andtimely analysis to deliver further insight to budget holdersenabling them to manage their areasprofitably
* Assist the Finance Director withpreparing and presenting reports to the Board ofDirectors
Statutory& Corporate andPayroll
* Provide financialresults to investors
* Prepare schedules forstatutory financial statements
* Manage theexternal UK and Ireland audit process
* Reviewquarterly UK VAT reports; manage international VATreporting
* Ensure compliance with statutoryrequirements Companies House HMRC etc
* Ensureour wonderful team are paid correctly and ontime
* Review full time and part time payrollschedules prepared by externalparty

* Managinga team of two youll adopt a reverse leadership approach inspiringcontinuous growth to your team through training coaching andfrequent reviews
* Collaborate and build strongrelationships with members of the team at all levels of thebusiness to ensure that all information delivered is correct anduseful

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE FROMME
* A qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA/ ACCA)
* Ideally trained in audit /practice
* Financial Controller or Senior FinanceManager experience within the retailindustry
* Proven track record of continuousprocess improvement
* Investor reportingexperience is advantageous
