Job Title: Production Cleaner - 10 pm - 6 am - Monday to Friday

Reports to: Shift Manager
Job Purpose: To provide efficient and effective cleaning support to the Production area, including ensuring that the security and general appearance of the building in accordance with the required standards.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
Cleaners are required to undertake the following duties as directed by the Shift Manager using the prescribed methods and frequencies in line with the requirements of the cleaning specification and safe working procedures.
Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
* Using chemical agents as directed by the Manufacturer in the discharge of cleaning operation or maintenance procedures (after receiving proper instruction and training)
* Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, sanitiser dispensers) as and when required
* Cleaning toilets-, urinals, hand basins and sinks and floors
* Maintain floors are free from grease, oil, granules at all time using appropriate equipment and cleaning chemicals for that task,
* When floor cleaning use appropriate signage to make personnel aware
* Using Appropriate equipment, clean production equipment (Machines, Polymacs, VHP) in accordance to the cleaning schedule (after receiving proper instruction and training)
* Dusting, damp wiping, ledges, and external surfaces of cupboards, fitments and any areas that may gather dust within the area
* Report any issues, observations immediately that may be a hazard to the Shift Manager
* Carry out other duties that may be required from time to time to develop and facilitate an efficient operation.

Administration
* Keep a check on cleaning stock levels and inform the Shift Manager of low stock levels (eg. cleaning products)
* At the start of the shift check and sign to confirm that all equipment is present
* Carry out any safety checks on equipment (Floor cleaner and electrical equipment)
* Carry out routine administrative tasks required from time to time eg. checking off cleaning tasks on daily cleaning specification sheets
Resources
* Operate relevant equipment safely
* Maintain tidy and organised work space and storage areas
* Check equipment / machinery used and ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to
* Provide support to staff as requested and in accordance with own training / skill parameters
33 days annual leave, including a shutdown at Christmas
Bonus available - paid annually in December, up to 4% for achieving KPI targets
Company sick pay up to 24 weeks (increasing with years of service)

All PPE provided, including safety shoes
