Description
We’re offering a permanent opportunity within our Gas Systems Management and Operations team, where you’ll take on a high‑profile role focused on how gas network charges are designed, applied and reformed across the energy transition. This work sits at the centre of the biggest challenges facing the gas sector, from declining fossil gas consumption and ageing infrastructure to the development of low‑carbon gases such as hydrogen and biomethane. Your contributions will help charging frameworks evolve to support these changes while protecting consumers and maintaining system resilience.
Responsibilities
* Analyse complex regulatory issues and produce robust recommendations.
* Communicate technical information to a wide range of audiences.
* Manage competing priorities and build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
* Work on high‑profile, nationally significant programmes and contribute to wider strategic thinking.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in economic regulation.
* Knowledge of gas system charging.
* Strong organisational and collaboration skills.
* Ability to analyse complex issues and produce clear recommendations.
