Baler Operative – Waste & Recycling Industry
Location: Grantham, NG32
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently hiring an experienced and reliable Baler Operative to join a growing waste management company in the Grantham (NG32) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that is rapidly expanding its UK operations and investing in people.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Operating Lyndex Meggabite baler machinery safely and efficiently
* Loading recyclable materials into the baler
* Monitoring machine performance and ensuring the production of high-quality bales
* Performing routine maintenance and daily machine checks
* Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
* Assisting with general yard duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in the waste & recycling sector is essential
* Hands-on experience operating a Lyndex Meggabite baler is required
* Strong focus on health & safety in the workplace
* Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
* A proactive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
