Conduct thorough analyses of production processes to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams following analysis to address quality issues and enhance product reliability, and identify any trends. Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of Right First Time (RFT) by promoting a quality mindset and driving initiatives for process optimisation Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes and systems to ensure adherence to quality standards. Ensure all products and processes meet internal and customer quality standards Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria to maintain accuracy and compliance in production. Drive the resolution of quality issues alongside engineering and production teams, using analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications and Experience in Quality Engineering Experience of working in a CNC machining environment and dealing with aerospace or defence components would be desirable.
