Overview
Raytheon UK - a global Manufacturing Engineering leader in the Aerospace and Defence industry, has an exciting opportunity for a qualified electronics professional to join the team and contribute to a range of Test Electronics projects in a defence environment.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a range of professional electronics skills including debug and fault finding at component level on high‑reliability electronics.
* Support manufacturing production projects with test, diagnostics and data presentation.
* Work across the test lifecycle and communicate findings to teams; mentor other staff such as diagnostic technicians.
* Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) implementation where appropriate.
* Work with military or high‑reliability electronics environments and technologies.
* Challenge the status quo and contribute new ideas to improve processes and products.
* Engage with a range of electronic technologies to deliver tested products to customers.
Qualifications
* Degree, postgraduate qualification or HND (or equivalent) in Electronics or related field.
* Knowledge of electronics with experience in defence and/or military environments.
* Experience testing and fault finding electronic assemblies to component level; ability to present data and demonstrate subject‑matter expertise.
