The Role
* Supporting the delivery of several regional highways frameworks and projects with values ranging up to £15m.
* Projects range from public realm and RTS frameworks to larger one off highway projects.
* You will be working in a fast-paced multi-project environment, delivering change management activities across all live projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial activities across a portfolio of regional highways schemes.
* Manage client application and change controls.
* Manage end to end subcontract packages.
* Produce monthly CVRs, presenting to senior internal stakeholders for review.
* Manage compensation events and change across live NEC3/4 contracts..
* Support operational team with managing payment applications, ensuring the correct rates and work order numbers are used.
* Produce and present risk management reports.
What We're Looking For
* Our client is looking for Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak with experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.
* You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience across any infrastructure sector for a consultancy, client organisation, main contractor, or subcontractor. Any highways experience is desirable, however not essential.
* Must have experience of delivering NEC contracts, including the delivery of change management activities such as early warning notices and compensation events.
* Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree desirable.
