School Site Assistant – Part Time (Evenings & Weekends)
Location: Stanmore
Hours: Approx. 28 hours per week

We’re working with a well-regarded primary school in Stanmore to recruit a reliable, proactive Site Assistant to support the school’s evening and weekend lettings.
This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive school environment, helping oversee and maintain the facilities while liaising with external hirers who use the school for community and sporting activities.
Working Hours
*
Wednesday & Thursday: 6:30pm – 10:30pm
*
Saturday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
*
Sunday: 8:00am – 12:30pm and 4:30pm – 9:00pm (Split shift)
*
Additional weekday cover may be required – with advance notice.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supervise external lettings (sports hall, classrooms, outside areas)
*
Open and lock up the school premises as needed
*
Ensure all facilities are returned to a clean, tidy condition after use
*
Liaise with hirers and manage any queries or minor issues
*
Carry out small maintenance and site tasks as requested
*
Ensure site security and fire safety procedures are followed (training provided)
*
Carry out litter picking and external bin checks
*
Follow the school’s Health & Safety and safeguarding policies
What We’re Looking For

A responsible and trustworthy individual
*
Someone confident working independently and using their initiative
*
Good communication skills when dealing with external hirers
*
Able to carry out light physical tasks such as lifting, sweeping, or mopping
*
A team player who is flexible and happy to support with occasional extra shifts
Previous experience in a site or caretaking role is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
