We are looking for an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer for one of our long-standing clients based near Wigan. My client is a global manufacturer and have been operating in the area for over 100 years. An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join this great company on their 4-shift rota. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation on all production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing process. Maintenance Engineer Benefits: £50,000 - £55,400 (DOE) OT at premium rates. Training and Progression. 33 Days holiday including BH. Secure car park. Pension. Maintenance Engineer Duties include: Monday Friday. (8am 4pm / 6am 2pm / 10pm 6am / 2pm 10pm) 4-week rotation. Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability. Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance. Maintenance Engineer Requirements include: Recognised Engineering Qualifications. Electrically qualified. Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC experience. Ability to read electrical schematics. VSD experience. Strong electrical fault finding. Please apply find out more about this fantastic role.
