The Role
* Preparing equipment, materials, and chemicals for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Supporting complex practical investigations at GCSE and A Level
* Ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
* Maintaining laboratory equipment and managing stock levels
* Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions where required
* Keeping detailed compliance and safety records
* Contributing to the smooth organisation of the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in a Science Technician or laboratory-based role
* Strong understanding of laboratory health & safety procedures
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence supporting practical work at KS4 and KS5
* A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach
* The ability to work independently within a structured environment
