Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
Monday - Thursday 15:00PM-18:00PM Fridays 15:00-17:30
Term time only, but some deep clean in the school holidays will be required.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, classrooms and communal spaces.
* Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
* Dispose of waste and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any cleaning needs or concerns.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
* Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
