As a Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, you'll be integral to our UK sales team. You'll collaborate with account teams to design and position high-value solutions for finance and/or supply-chain challenges, turning your technical depth into clear business solutions with tangible value driven outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Client Solutions team on building repeatable assets in conjunction with Avanade strategy.
* Work closely with the Avanade sales team, Client Groups, Delivery Leads, Consulting teams, and Microsoft Account Executives on account planning and amplification of our primary Business Application priorities.
* Ensure seamless transitions to delivery teams and partner with Solution Architects.
* Mentor team members and share best practices.
* Contribute to pipeline and revenue growth through participation and coordination of demand generation activities.
* Lead customer workshops, tradeshows, and company events as part of demand generation and engagement.
* Lead discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and executive briefings.
* Conduct proofs-of-concepts, demonstrations, and deep-dives of Dynamics 365 Finance & SCM (including integrations, analytics, and Power Platform extensions).
* Translate technical capabilities into ROI-focused narratives and business cases.
* Create compelling proposals and RFP responses demonstrating operational agility, lower TCO, and revenue growth with Dynamics 365.
* Engage C-suite and stakeholders by understanding their needs and co-creating success metrics.
* Present technical concepts through relatable stories prepared for various audiences.
* Maintain existing certifications and stay informed about ISV and Partner Ecosystem developments.
Qualifications
* 5+ years in pre-sales or solution selling with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Insights, Service, Field Service, Case Management) or Power Platform; or equivalent experience in contact centre.
* Deep knowledge of core modules with hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Automate, and common integration patterns.
* Proven experience in POC development, system architecture, and performance optimization.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Consultative approach with ability to co-design solutions.
* Strong storytelling capabilities highlighting user journeys and ROI; knowledge of value-selling frameworks and ROI modeling.
* Ability to quantify benefits and articulate them in business terms; experience with commercial models, TCV estimates, and licensing discussions.
* Curious, self-driven, adaptable; collaborative team player; quick to adapt to new product releases and industry trends.
* Microsoft Certifications.
