Role Information
The Data Manager will lead on the collection, analysis, and reporting of key school performance data. Responsibilities include maintaining MIS systems, generating reports for senior leadership, managing student assessment data, supporting timetable administration, and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
The role will involve working closely with SLT, Heads of Department, and pastoral teams to provide actionable insights that improve outcomes. You will also lead the technical side of examination data, including entry checks, grade analysis, and results day procedures.
This is a key strategic role requiring exceptional accuracy, logical thinking, and strong IT competency. The successful candidate will ensure data systems run efficiently and will drive continuous innovation in data processes.
Requirements
• Experience in a school data role or similar analytical environment
• Strong proficiency in MIS platforms (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or iSAMS)
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
