Internal - Industrialisation & Facilities Technician Salary: £38,121.33 Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.15 -5.30 (39 hours) Role Overview The Industrialisation & Facilities Technician supports the setup, optimisation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes within the factory. This role focuses on preparing production areas, supporting new product introduction, building jigs and fixtures, and ensuring the factory equipment and building infrastructure remain safe and operational. Key Responsibilities Industrialisation & Production Support Support the setup and preparation of new production lines and workstations. Assist with the industrialisation of new products, including tooling, fixtures, and assembly processes. Build, modify, and maintain jigs, fixtures, and production aids. Assist with the layout and organisation of manufacturing areas to improve workflow and efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. Work with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Assist with equipment installation, setup, and commissioning within the production environment. Co-ordinate with & support H&S Equipment & Maintenance Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and tools. Troubleshoot basic mechanical or electrical issues on factory equipment. Maintain tools, benches, lifting equipment, and workshop areas. Support calibration or maintenance schedules for production tools and equipment. Facilities & Building Maintenance Carry out general building maintenance including lighting, fixtures, and minor repairs. Monitor and maintain facility services such as compressed air, power distribution, and workshop utilities. Assist with the organisation and coordination of external contractors when required. Conduct regular checks of the facility to identify maintenance or safety issues. Health & Safety Co-ordinate with & support H&S Follow company health and safety policies and procedures. Maintain safe working conditions across production and facility areas. Ensure equipment, tools, and workspaces meet safety standards. Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly.
