Job Description
Multiskilled Technician with HGV – Rainham, Permanent/Full time, Competitive salary + Benefits.
About the role
You will thrive within our expanding Rainham depot undertaking duties such as high‑pressure water jetting, clean‑up of spills/fly‑tips and other industrial services, remediation and general groundworks, tank cleaning and decommissioning, spill response, industrial cleaning duties, surface preparation and spray lining.
Your responsibilities may also include welding and fabrication; interceptor and storage‑tank installs, servicing, inspections (including OFTEC); investigation and remediation of issues with tank and interceptor vessels, pump and probe systems; remedial report issuing for tank and interceptor vessels and pump and probe systems.
The HGV2 licence is a key skill that can be utilised as and when required; the role will be predominantly based around spill response and reactive works. For clarity the tanker role is an ad‑hoc requirement, but is part of the key skills required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience operating in a similar role or environment would be highly advantageous.
* A willingness to work in an environment of change and to deal with emergency works is essential.
* Due to the nature of the role and the response duties, a flexible approach to working hours is needed.

* Willing to work away for extended periods when required, including travel, hotel stays and shift working.
* Willingness to undertake additional training as required to meet the needs of the depot.

* Experience operating plant would be a major advantage.
* Full category C or C+E UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK.
