We are looking for a passionate, ambitious and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a very large team and take the nursery to the next level with the support of the Company Directors. Or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take their next step in their career.

The Role
As the Nursery Manager, you are the driving force of the staff. The setting operates two large classes for children age 3 and 4 years old. Additionally, it operates a very large breakfast, after school and holiday club for Primary School aged children.
You will hold the title of Nursery Manager and choose to work partly Room Based in either the Early Years or Out of School Club classes to ensure you can role model and exemplify the quality of what is going on in the rooms to ensure it is operating Good at all times.
The Directors and Finance Officer currently carry some of larger admin processes required of a Nursery Manager such as the bookings, payroll and accounts. You will be in charge of the day to day running of the setting including the coordination of the school runs for the Out of School Club. You will create a stong staff team whose knowledge and practice is consistently good. You will be the face of the nursery to our parents and have excellent relationships with them ensuring they are kept happy. With the Directors support you will accordingly lead, inspire and engage the team to deliver exceptional care, activities and experience to our Out of School Club and early years curriculum whilst entrenching the ethos of the nursery as an inclusive environment that supports and develops the whole child.
The successful postholder will work closely with the other Nursery Manager (who is only part time) and Company Directors. Thus, the responsibilities encompass service delivery in line with regulatory requirements, being child friendly and customer focused, managing employee expectations all of which translate to a high performing early years' setting.
The Nursery Manager has the overall responsibility for the day to day oversight of safeguarding, health and safety practices and child protection in the setting and maintaining accurate and up to date systems and records always.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
-Full and relevant minimum level 3 qualification or above (essential).
-EYPP/EYTT or QTS post-graduate status (Desirable).
-12 hours paediatric first aid (desired).
* Relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken and a willingness to update training regularly (desired).

-Proven experience of solely managing an early years setting with successful management leading to 'Good or better' regulatory inspection outcomes.
-Strong decision-maker, with the proven ability to support change; a secure understanding of the complex relationship between business/commerce and service excellence within a regulated setting, with the ability to follow guidelines and work with others to achieve success.
Salary:
The Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year (closed on Bank holidays and Christmas) Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm. The ideal candidate would be available to work 5 days full time up to 45 hours per week and until 7pm every evening.
The starting base salary will be discussed at interview and is up to £31,200 per annum. We look positively at candidates experiences, qualifications, achievements and knowledge so that we can make a valuable offer of employment.
