Clinical Duties:
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of facial trauma cases, including pan-facial fractures, complex craniofacial injuries, and soft tissue trauma.
• Provide additional support in leading the surgical correction of congenital and acquired facial deformities, including orthognathic procedures.
• Provide multidisciplinary care, collaborating with orthodontists, plastic surgeons, ENT specialists, neurosurgeons, and radiologists.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols for the management of trauma and TMJ service, enhancing patient care pathways.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1:5), managing emergency OMFS cases, including trauma and acute infections.
• Deliver outpatient care, including pre- and post-operative consultations, and manage inpatient cases, ensuring a seamless patient journey.

Essential criteria
1. Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
2. An appropriate higher Surgical qualification
Desirable criteria
3. Special interest in facial deformity and orthognathic
4. Postgraduate qualification
Experience

5. High level of clinical experience and competence in OMFS services, including Trauma
6. Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
