Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team to maintain and optimize technologies within the global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Purpose of the Job:
We seek motivated, customer-focused individuals to join us as Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Managers. This role involves managing a team of engineering technicians, focusing on safety through training and coaching, and ensuring high equipment availability via preventive maintenance and adherence to processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, support, and mentor the team, ensuring safety and efficiency.
2. Collaborate to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions.
3. Support safety and compliance programs in coordination with site safety and leadership teams.
4. Implement standards and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
5. Organize training to ensure technical coverage for shifts.
6. Manage local projects or support EU-level initiatives.
7. Work on shifts as needed to stay connected with daily operations.
Basic Qualifications:
* Extensive practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles.
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
* Experience with automated equipment like packaging machinery, conveyor systems.
* Proficiency in English and local language (CEFR Level B2+).
* Knowledge of health & safety standards and regulations.
* Proficient in MS Office and CAD.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Comprehensive knowledge of FC engineering and safety procedures.
* Experience with PLC control systems.
* Project management skills.
* Familiarity with CMMS software.
* Experience with Kaizen and continuous improvement processes.
