we’re looking for experienced, energetic Pastry Chef de Parties to help bring
it to life.
Located in
the stunning Grade II* listed Pillar Hall, Idalia will serve guests from
breakfast through to evening dining, with a menu focused on exceptional British
produce. On select evenings, the space will come alive with soul and jazz,
creating a vibrant and memorable guest experience.
This is a

What
you’ll be doing
As a Pastry Chef de Partie,
you will play a vital role in supporting the pastry team, ensuring exceptional
standards are consistently delivered. You will collaborate closely with the bar
team to create a seamless and memorable guest experience.
You are

Key
Responsibilities
·
Support
the pastry team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts,
pastries, and baked goods
·
Ensure
consistency and excellence in all pastry dishes, maintaining high standards at
all times
·
Assist
in the smooth running of the pastry section during service, ensuring efficient
workflow
·
Prepare
and finish dishes across service periods, including breakfast, afternoon tea,
and dinner service
·
Maintain
cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards within the pastry kitchen
·
Monitor
stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
·
Work
closely with the wider kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless guest
experience
·
Support
the training and development of junior team members when required
·
Follow
recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications accurately
·
Contribute
ideas for menu development and seasonal pastry offerings
·
Maintain
clear communication within the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service
·
Lead
by example with a hands-on and proactive approach during busy service periods
