Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to capture and document business requirements.
* Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
* Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather requirements, user stories and use cases.
* Analyse and document business processes, workflows and system interactions.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
* Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights.
* Define and implement product‑centric operating models.
* Manage product ownership practices and processes.
* Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies.
* Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines and deliverables.
* Support testing and quality assurance activities.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to business analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
* Experience in Transformation and/or complex delivery projects.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as process modelling, lean practices, use case development and requirements elicitation.
* Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense.
* Expertise in testing against requirements.
* Experience working within the Public Sector.
* Ability to understand, interpret, present and challenge technical and/or complex information.
* Experience managing scope in challenging environments.
* Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders.
* Experience with Lean Portfolio Management.

This role is part of Deloitte's Technology and Transformation team, supporting Defence and Security programmes. You will be based in one of our UK offices and will have the flexibility of hybrid working.
