Job Description
3. Manage the preparation of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
4. Oversee tax compliance processes, including self-assessment returns, VAT and corporate tax returns.
5. Provide tailored tax advice and planning strategies to clients.
6. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
7. Review financial statements and provide recommendations for improvements.
8. Support junior team members with training and technical guidance.
9. Communicate directly with clients to address queries and build strong relationships.
10. Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax & Accounts Manager should have:
11. Professional qualifications in accounting or tax, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Practical experience in account preparation and tax compliance.
13. A strong understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations.
14. Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
15. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
