Nottingham Forest Women are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Coach to support on all on‑pitch activities for Nottingham Forest Women’s U21 Pro game Academy, with responsibility for the implementation of the methodology and individual development of players in the PGA.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Bring an innovative and enthusiastic attitude to the standard required by NFFC, coaching within the PGA to develop players of excellent quality.
* Support the transition of players from the PGA to the first team environment when required.
* Support the selection discussion for the PGA team on match days with the multi‑disciplinary team as part of the discussion.
* Manage the PGA team on match days to ensure the playing and coaching philosophy is carried out.
* After all games, watch videos and assist the video analyst in preparing engaging feedback to the players.
* Take part in decision‑making regarding signing trialists and signing/releases of PGA players.
* Complete all administration tasks in a timely and high‑standard manner to meet PGAAC audit requirements.
* Ensure that all players, parents and staff in charge act in an appropriate manner according to the Nottingham Forest Code of Conduct.
* Promptly communicate with the Girls Academy Manager any important information regarding their work.
* Participate in development activities, both inside and outside the club, to improve coaching quality, including ensuring qualifications are up‑to‑date.
* Drive club transport when required.
* Implement additional tasks as instructed by the Girls Academy Manager and Head of Women & Girls Football.
* Ensure administration related to player educational requirements and logbooks is completed to a high standard.

Qualifications and Experience
* UEFA ‘B’ Licence.
* FA Youth Award.
* FA Emergency First Aid in Football.
* Demonstrable experience working in Academy Football.
* Focus on individual player development within a team process.
* Creative presentation skills and experience (desirable).
* Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to work with staff across departments.
* Ability to work under pressure and willing to work unsociable hours to meet deadlines.
* Dedicated to self‑improvement and personal development.
* Organised, methodical and logical approach to work.
* High level IT and presentation skills in building and delivering relevant information.
