Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at KS3 and KS4. Plan and adapt teaching to ensure excellent progress for learners of varying abilities. Use assessment and data to inform teaching practice and targeted intervention. Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and practical science provision. Maintain a safe, well-organised laboratory environment aligned with health & safety procedures. Participate in wider school activities and contribute to whole‑school initiatives. Ideal Candidate Profile Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism, with confidence teaching across all three disciplines at KS3/4. Effective classroom management and the ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm in Science. A reflective practitioner committed to professional growth and department collaboration.
