HGV Technician Vacancy – Bedford
1. Salary: Up to £23 per hour dependent upon experience / qualifications
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm
3. Alternating Saturdays paid at 1.5x

Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:
4. Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on HGVs to the highest standards
5. Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
6. Perform safety inspections, MOT preparation, and routine maintenance
7. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards
8. Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
9. Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
10. Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
11. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
12. A team player with a proactive attitude
13. Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential
