The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Stockton-on-Tees, in their search for a Marketing Manager. This is a newly created role, ideal for someone with a foundation in B2B service sector marketing who's ready to take the next step in their career, taking ownership of the marketing strategy and execution in a standalone capacity.
Role Profile:
As Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns that raise brand awareness and generate leads. You'll work closely with the leadership team and external agencies to ensure consistent messaging and effective execution across all channels.
Campaign Management & Lead Generation
* Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and social media
* Drive inbound interest and nurture prospects through the funnel
* Lead nurture campaigns and manage downloadable content
* Collaborate with external agencies on PPC, SEO, and digital advertising
Content & Asset Creation
* Create and adapt marketing assets using tools like Canva
* Manage and update website content to ensure messaging is current and aligned with campaigns
* Maintain marketing tools and databases
Events & Brand Visibility
* Organise and promote events, webinars, expos, and speaking opportunities
* Liaise with PR agencies, photographers, and designers
* Ensure visibility within the ideal customer profile (ICP)
Performance & Reporting
* Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting and insights
* Support marketing analytics and KPI tracking
Person Specification:
* Educated with a marketing degree or CIM qualification, with experience in B2B services (IT or MSP sector is advantageous)
* A generalist marketing skillset, confident in managing campaigns, events, digital channels, and external agency relationships
* Commercially aware and results-driven, with experience managing a marketing budget and tracking campaign performance
* Organised and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities independently in a standalone role
* A clear and confident communicator, adaptable to change and proactive in solving problems
* Demonstrates company values, with a collaborative, low-ego mindset and a genuine interest in contributing to business success
Other Information:
• Hybrid working pattern 3 days in the office office, 2 days remote
• 8.00am – 4.00pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm
• 23 days + bank holidays
