Key Account Manager / Client Manager
Leading IT MSP – Location: Coventry (Hybrid); Salary: £45,000‑£60,000 DOE (Neg) + Uncapped Commission.
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager/client manager to manage 20‑25 core accounts across markets such as automotive, charity, and utilities. The role focuses on selling IT Managed Services, particularly Microsoft 365 packages, into the end‑user market.
About You
* Experienced sales professional currently working at an IT reseller or IT Managed Service Provider in the UK.
* Proven ability to manage and grow accounts.
* Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and other IT solutions and services.
* Self‑motivated, highly driven, excellent communicator, and solid team player.
Responsibilities
* Manage a defined portfolio of strategic accounts, including co‑managed environments with client‑side IT teams.
* Develop and execute account plans aligned to client business goals.
* Build and maintain multi‑level stakeholder relationships across IT, finance, and executive leadership.
* Identify and develop opportunities for Professional Services, project delivery, and Managed Services.
* Deliver against revenue and margin targets.
* Lead renewal strategies through early engagement and service evolution.
* Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions.
* Translate technical solutions into clear business value and outcomes.
* Act as the primary commercial owner and escalation point for assigned accounts.
* Ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable, deliverable, and aligned to client needs.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, and forecasting.
