Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will specialise in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to a diverse patient demographic. Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with MSK conditions, including joint, muscle, and soft tissue injuries.
* Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on thorough physiotherapy evaluations.
* Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobilisation techniques.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes accordingly to optimise recovery.
* Educate patients on injury prevention, management strategies, and self-care techniques to promote long-term health.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication across departments.
* Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
* Supervise junior staff and students as required, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional development.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year UK experience
* Proven 2 years experience working within hospital settings specialising in MSK physiotherapy.
* Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal health.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing paediatric patients with MSK conditions is highly desirable.
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to individual needs.
* Relevant registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent professional body.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise multiple cases efficiently. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude towards continuous professional development and demonstrate commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within a clinical setting specialising in musculoskeletal health.
