Overview
NHS Highland is seeking a Health Care Support Worker on the Island of Colonsay within the Community Nursing Team. This post is to deliver safe and effective care under the direction of the Island-based District Nurse. This is a community-based post, so a driving licence is preferable. Ongoing training will be given. The post-holder may be asked to work flexibly in terms of location to develop and support other areas of the Island’s Nursing Community Nursing service if required.

* Be an effective team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. IT skills are essential.
* Contribute to and support other areas of the Islands Nursing Community Nursing service as required.
Qualifications and experience
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic person able to work under pressure.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills; IT skills are essential.
* Experience working within health or social care is desirable.
* Driving licence is preferable.
* Ongoing training will be provided.
