At Kier, we're proud to be shaping the future of construction. As a Mechanical Project Engineer you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality Mechanical installations within our internal MEP business at Kier Group.
Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) is our in-house MEP design and build business, supporting regional and strategic projects across the UK. With a turnover of £80–100m, we deliver innovative solutions in sectors including custodial, commercial, health, and science.
Location: Site Based, Southampton
Business Unit: Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be doing?
* Oversee mechanical works from planning to completion
* Review and optimise designs with clients and teams
* Manage change control, risk, and quality assurance
* Lead delegated work packages and support team performance
* Ensure compliance with safety, design, and statutory standards
What do you need?
* Relevant qualification in Mechanical Services
* CSCS and SMSTS accreditation
* Strong technical knowledge and a collaborative mindset
