Our client is a growing and respected SME manufacturer located just outside Blackpool, with a turnover in the £5 million range and ambitious growth plans. They're now looking for a driven, commercially minded Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance team and play a key role in shaping the company's financial direction.
You'll be reporting directly to an accomplished and supportive Finance Director with a track record of developing finance talent into qualified, high-performing professionals.
What you'll be doing
Preparing monthly management accounts and key performance reports
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Helping to drive improvements in cost control and margin analysis
Partnering with operations to understand financial drivers on the shop floor
Assisting in year-end audit and statutory reporting processes
Involvement in systems upgrades and finance process improvementsAbout you
Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent)
Experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment (preferred)
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
Commercially aware with an analytical mindset
Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to make an impact
