Senior Transport Officer – Waverley Court
Salary: £47,639 – £56,392, Hours: 36 per week.

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Senior Transport Officer within the Specialist Team, committed to delivering an efficient, effective and customer‑focused Planning service and great places. The role covers transport input to a varied and challenging range and volume of planning cases, involvement with road construction consents, quality audits, stopping‑up orders, strategy and policy work, and includes a supervisor role for Transport Officer(s). You will be contributing to change and improvement, and supporting the professional development of yourself and your colleagues.
Responsibilities

* Conduct and review quality audits
* Manage stopping‑up orders
* Strategy and policy development related to transport
* Supervise Transport Officer(s)
* Contribute to change and improvement initiatives and support professional development of staff
Qualifications
* Strong sense of customer service
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of quality assurance principles
* Appetite for project delivery and continuous improvement
