Due to our continued success, we are expanding our Commercial team and looking for a Quantity Surveyor. This position will report to the Head of Commercial and will be the project manager of a number of varied housing schemes across the East Midlands.
Responsibilities
* Procuring and negotiating subcontract packages alongside developing new and existing partnerships with supply chain partners
* Development of cost information working with existing budgets to deliver medium to large housing schemes
* Close liaison with clients and their representatives with formal monthly cost reporting
* Working closely with buying and technical departments to drive efficiencies
* A good understanding of housing projects, especially partnerships housing
Requirements:
* Proven experience of working in the construction sector
* The ability to communicate, influence and challenge at all levels to deliver results
* Experience of managing a portfolio of projects
