About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll lead the Senior Accountant and their team in managing financial reporting, compliance, and performance across major programmes and capital projects. Your key responsibilities include:
* Designing financial models and ROI tools to support strategic decision-making
* Overseeing budget-setting, monthly reporting, and annual statutory accounts
* Guiding senior managers on financial controls, audit, and governance
* Leading internal and external audit processes, supporting risk management
* Developing automated reporting systems and dashboards with MI
* Deputising for the Director of Finance when needed
What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified CCAB accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent
* Strong track record in strategic financial reporting and annual accounts delivery
* Skilled in complex modelling, BI tools, and interpreting data for senior leaders
* Experience leading, developing, and inspiring finance teams
* Commercially minded, governance aware, and adept at process improvement
