MC Saatchi UK are looking for an award-winning Senior Creative Copywriter to join us in January on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You’ll bring extensive experience, with a portfolio full of fresh, fame-driving work for modern brands. You understand how brands are built today, not just through campaigns, but through culture, platforms, and behaviour. You’re endlessly curious about the world, fluent in social, and excited by finding new, unexpected ways to connect with audiences. You know when to follow culture and when to challenge it. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Brand-experienced Culturally relevant Socially curious Proven at winning awards (and raising the bar while doing it) WHAT YOU'LL DO: Generate innovative ideas and develop clear, compelling, and original copy across multiple channels, including: Brand and integrated campaigns Digital, social, and content TV, radio, OOH, and print Collaborate with your creative partner to develop strong concepts from brief to final delivery Interpret creative briefs and translate strategic insights into effective creative ideas Present creative work internally and to clients with confidence and clarity Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice across all touchpoints Work closely with Account Management, Strategy, Design, and Production teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery Stay up to date with cultural trends, advertising best practices, and emerging platforms Guide team members in developing socially relevant and on-brand concepts Build client confidence through compelling presentation of content ideas Mentor and support junior writers, fostering a positive and collaborative creative culture WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Proven expertise in copywriting experience in a creative agency or similar environment Strong portfolio showcasing award-winning work for modern brands Deep understanding of brand building, cultural trends, and social platforms Exceptional conceptual thinking and ability to craft ideas that resonate culturally Skilled in writing for multiple formats and channels Confident presenter with excellent communication skills Ability to mentor and inspire junior creatives WHAT YOU’LL GET: For the right candidate, we will offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes 27 days annual holiday, private healthcare, employer contributory pension, life assurance and income protection.
