About the Role
A leading South West law firm is seeking a qualified Associate to join its Real Estate team within the Real Estate practice in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property lawyer to work on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and regeneration schemes. You will also collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including Corporate, Banking & Finance, Litigation, Projects & Construction, and Energy & Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on commercial property transactions for developers, investors, and public/private sector clients
* Handle sales and acquisitions, asset management, and landlord & tenant matters
* Work on real estate finance matters
* Project management and coordination with other specialist teams on complex matters
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Actively participate in marketing initiatives and internal training sessions
* Run own files in compliance with professional and firm standards
Candidate Profile
* Qualified solicitor with a training seat completed in Real Estate, or current experience as a Commercial Property Solicitor
* Excellent technical skills with the ability to manage and progress matters independently
* Strong client focus and commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Commercial awareness, credibility, drive, and enthusiasm
* Solid academic record
