We are growing FAST! Our HR software and service demand is booming and we have a really exciting, brand new role for a Software Developer to join our ever expanding Dev team here at SAMpeople. This role can be worked on a remote basis. The team often meet at our great offices with fab people based at Calder Grove, Wakefield (but its not a necessity if youre further afield). So, whats the role? Were looking for a talented Software Developer to join our busy Dev team. Youll be a key player in designing, developing and maintaining our software applications. Some of the main responsibilities of our Software Developers will be: Contributing to the design, architecture and implementation decisions. Analysing existing programs and making modifications and improvements Implementing new software solutions, websites and applications Writing & implementing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement Participate in Agile sprints Verifying and deploying software solutions What makes you the ideal candidate for us? Skills, knowledge and qualifications which are really important to us are: A strong aptitude for programming and problem solving Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field/equivalent experience. 1-2 years experience in Software Development C#, ASP.Net, WebApi2 SQL, Entity Framework JavaScript / jQuery Azure DevOps / Azure Hosting Proven experience of working within an Agile environment Proven commercial experience working on customer facing SaaS systems The ability to provide support and encouragement to others The ability to manage yourself and align with team goals We feel really lucky to work here; were part of a super supportive team with a great working environment and can offer flexible hours and options to fit around any family commitments you might have.
