Teaching Personnel are currently working with a specialist SEN Secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are currently looking for an SEN Teacher to start in September. This is a great opportunity for a teacher with a background in SEN who is looking for a new, rewarding role. About the role: Start-date: 3 rd September Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for a permanent contract with the school Teaching students in Years 7-9 As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students in Years 7 to 9. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff—to create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to learn and grow. Your role will involve using a variety of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement, as well as assessing student progress and adapting teaching approaches to ensure all learners are appropriately challenged and supported. Building positive relationships with families and carers will also be a key part of your role to help foster holistic development.
