Job Description:
Vickerstock is partnering with a major European manufacturing company to appoint a Purchasing Administrator. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in purchasing or supply chain management. The position offers a competitive starting salary up to £27,000, with opportunities to earn a CIPS qualification after 12 months of experience. Key responsibilities include:
1. Processing purchase orders and invoices efficiently.
2. Managing and resolving invoice queries promptly.
3. Generating and developing regular reports.
4. Administering supplier approvals and managing material codes.
5. Maintaining and updating pricing records.
6. Processing and reporting TSS customs declarations.
7. Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and compiling local contracts and agreements.
8. Performing other purchasing-related duties as required.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant degree (Supply Chain, Economics, Accountancy, Finance).
* Proficiency in formulas, pivots, V-lookups in Excel.
* SAP experience is desirable.
* Confident and effective communication skills.
