About the School

Birch Hill Primary School and Nursery is a two-form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth districts of Bracknell Forest. In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) catering for children with ASD and MLD. The school is organised into two Key Stages - EYFS/KS1 and KS2. Our motto is: Learn, Believe, Achieve Together. We value partnership with parents and the wider community, and we operate four Golden Rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Ready to Learn and Be Honest. Each class has its own Golden Rules Charter to encourage respect and responsibility. The school provides a calm and purposeful working atmosphere with staff dedicated to doing the very best for all pupils, regardless of additional needs or backgrounds.

Staff Benefits and Expectations

* ME days: staff can request an additional day off per year to attend special events (e.g., children’s sports days, graduations, family and friends’ weddings)
* CPD is available for all staff at all levels
* Free flu vaccinations are offered to all staff
* Free eye tests are provided for eligible staff

Application Process and Requirements

If you believe this is an environment where you can thrive and contribute to our students’ future, please apply. Applicants are advised to apply as early as possible as we reserve the right to close the advert and interview at any time. We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
