Senior Practitioner - Children Looked After Team 1 (Thurrock Council – Grays)
Basic Salary £45,624 – £52,038 per annum (plus a Market Factor Supplement of £6,000 per annum).
Grade: F / Permanent Contract / 37 Hours per week.
We seek an energetic, passionate experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Children Looked After Team. Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience at Senior Practitioner level in this area of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own workload while supporting the Team Manager.
* Provide support to Social Workers, NQSWs, and students.
* Model best practice and support team development.
* Keep up to date with new proposals, initiatives, legislation, council policies and departmental procedures, ensuring service delivery is customer‑focused and of the highest quality.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
* ABDS Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List.
