Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Sheffield to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible!
You’ll be joining an inclusive primary school, who has a fantastic team of staff who work closely together to ensure children are achieving excellence within their learning and children who are eager to learn.
This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
Job Specification
1. Help the class teacher plan, prepare and carry out lessons tailored in line with the primary curriculum.
2. Support individuals who have need academic support and/or have SEN
3. Track and report pupils progress and report back to SLT/parents/carers
4. Deliver catch up sessions/take out small groups to focus on core subjects
Essential Qualifications:
5. Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
6. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
7. Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
8. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
