Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Biggleswade
We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimising our warehouse operations to support continued business growth.
Not only will you be leading our operations, you will also be working with senior leaders on delivering long term business strategies.

What is your role?
You will be a key figure in driving safety, efficiency and operational excellence across our site. Reporting to our Country Director, You will be familiar with reporting on KPIs, budgets and key business drivers.
Whilst we have very ambitious and exciting plans, you will need vision with a constant focus on future requirements.
This hands-on role requires you to drive continuous improvements, embed best practices, develop your team, and promote a change mindset throughout the operation.
Looking to lead from the front? you will be overseeing everything from inbound deliveries to final shipments, systems implementation, inventory management, order fulfilment and transport.
You will ensure that we comply with H&S legislation and promote a safety-first culture within the site.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site maintenance, statutory compliance and the general upkeep of the building and grounds.
We’re looking for a hands on Manager to oversee warehouse operations and drive team performance.
Main Responsibilities
5. Lead and motivate the warehouse team, managing staffing, organisation, and workflow.
6. Oversee inbound and outbound, storage, order picking, packing, loading, and shipping.
7. Ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
8. Monitor performance, identify improvements, and manage change effectively.
9. Support and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
10. Work with senior management to plan resources, set targets, and deliver business goals.
11. Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service and long-term satisfaction.
12. Encourage teamwork across departments and create a positive, collaborative working environment.
Who are you?
13. Demonstrated success in managing warehouse and logistics functions
14. Ability to analyse data and monitor KPIs and drive performance
15. Problem solving mindset with the ability to make quick informed decisions when required.
16. Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
17. Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, safe systems and compliance requirements
18. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
19. Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
20. Excellent communication and people development skills.
