Your new role
As a Client Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive timely, accurate, and proactive support. You'll oversee the delivery of accounts, tax returns, and advisory work, while nurturing relationships that help clients feel genuinely supported.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors
2. Act as the primary contact for client queries, providing clear and practical guidance
3. Review accounts, VAT returns, management reports, and tax computations
4. Coordinate workflow within the team to ensure deadlines are met
5. Identify opportunities to add value through advisory services
6. Support junior team members with coaching and technical guidance
7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience in an accountancy practice environment
9. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
10. Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport
11. Confident reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
12. Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
13. A genuine interest in helping clients understand their numbers and grow their businesses
